Guilty dog barks first!

May 15, 2008

We have an old saying in the South…”Guilty dog barks first.” Loosely translated, when something bad happens the first person to yell is usually the guilty party!

It seems to fit the Democrats response to President Bush’s speech in Israel today. The President didn’t mention anyone by name, didn’t point fingers at any particular political party and yet the Democrats are screaming bloody murder. Dems are screaming of a comparison to Neville Chamberlain. Guilty dog barks first seems to fit the occasion.

I could have gone with “a guilty conscience” but the current leaders of the Democratic party don’t seem to have a conscience. So I’m going with “Guilty dog barks first.”

Obama thinks the President was talking about him.

Maybe Carly Simon was singing about Obama…”I bet you think this song is about you, Don’t you? Don’t you?”

Why would Obama think the mere mention of appeasement is a reference to him unless he is for appeasement? I hear a dog barking on this one folks.

Nancy Pelosi says that President Bush’s remarks were “beneath dignity of office.” Pot, kettle, black. Again, I hear dogs barking.

Hillary Clinton rushes to defend Obama and Democrats in general…”the President’s comments were outrageous and offensive…there is a very clear difference between Democrats and Republicans.”

Well, finally I have to agree with Hillary on something. There IS a very clear difference between Democrats and Republicans…the same difference that is found between Communism and Freedom! Those dogs are barking pretty loudly now aren’t they?

Joseph Biden says the comments “are bullshit!” After reading some of his party’s proposals I think Mr. Biden is probably an expert on “bullshit.” The only bullshit on this occasion, Mr. Biden, is your party’s reaction to the Presidents speech.

The “Guilty dog barks first” is a really old saying. The only problem right now is figuring out which Democratic dog barked first and which one barked loudest. They have removed all doubt of their “collective” guilt on appeasement. Karl Marx would be extremely proud of his proteges.
