You want to be more effective and start getting more people behind you? Stop referring to everything as right and left, liberal and conservative. I am so tired of the labels. There are no absolutes anymore. Those terms don't even come close to what people actually believe any longer. Most people would align me on the left, but I consider myself on the right side of fiscal responsibility. Our ENTIRE govt is out of control on spending, every last one of them. Its not a republican problem or a democratic problem, its a problem with our entire government. Also its not the liberal media is the ENTIRE media. Faux news is not liberal, and they are one of the biggest culprits of pushing a hidden spend agenda. Spending for a giant military is still spending.

That giant budget everyone is pissing and moaning about, yeah well every state and every representative has a hand in the pie. ALL OF THEM. Its not Obama's budget its our elected officials budget.

If you really want to change our government, you need to stop splitting this country in two and get EVERYONE to realize we cannot keep spending and printing money no matter who you elected to the presidency. I voted for Obama but the problem I see is that if he did nothing with the banks and let them fail and our country did collapse, guess what, the country would hang him out to dry. The problem is that we have let rich people run our country for too long. They are not looking after the interests of middle income people, they are looking out for themselves. We the people need to hold them accountable, not wait for the govt to do something about it. People need to hit the streets as AMERICANS not liberals or democrats. I would stand side by side with my republican neighbors united in this cause but first people need to stop pretending half this country wants to spend and tax and the other half doesn't. Its simply not true.

I call to you to use your forum to bring people together united in this cause. If not you are just part of the problem.

Nice theory, but I'd prefer to blame the country's swooning over Obama on the dominance of govt in our school systems over the past decades. What we are seeing today is a direct result of that influence. Throw in a decidedly liberal press and you've got a population so ignorant and culpable that they'll be willing to vote for an anticapitalist, pro partial birth abortion, tax raising, pro socialized medicine, everybody is right except America, liberal-on-steroids. Drunk or not, the country is gonna wake up screwed after November.
